If you're a NASCAR fan, you've probably been waiting for this weekend's race at the Bristol Motor Speedway. You'll need to wait for the day the drivers take to the track, which will be a week and half away. NASCAR will take a break due to Easter, which falls Sunday. This gives drivers and fans extra time with their families. Formula 1 will be taking a week off following the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Kevin Harvick wins nascar race

Kevin Harvick won in Michigan. Now he is back in the driver's chair. As he crossed over the finish line he celebrated with fans. He was asked after the race if he expected to win back-toback races. This was a surprise win for the 37 year-old driver. In fact, this weekend marked the first time he'd won consecutive races since 2010.

This weekend, Kevin Harvick won his 60th Cup race at the Richmond Motor Speedway. He outperformed all the challengers, including pole-winner Bubba Wallace. He defeated Denny Hamlin (and Christopher Bell) in the last laps. He won by 0.441 seconds ending a 65-race winless streak. Harvick and Kyle Busch are now tied for ninth place on the all time wins list.

Kyle Busch's engine malfunction in the Southern 500

With 25 laps remaining in the Southern 500, Kyle Busch's engine gave up. Despite being leading the race the Toyota Camry had no choice but to make an urgent pit stop. Ben Beshore was Busch's crew chief and looked under the hood for the problem. He then moved the car to the apron and onto the pit lane. Busch finished 30th after his dominating run was ended by an engine failure. Busch may not have been able to make it to the playoffs due to the engine issue, but there are positive aspects about Kyle Busch’s performance.

nascar 2021 schedule

While the exact cause of Kyle Busch’s engine problem is still unknown, there could have been a few contributing factors. Multiple inspections have been made to the car and the driver had to pull in twice at the pits during the race. It is possible that this could have contributed to his car not starting at all.

Tyler Reddick wins nascar race

It looked like it was going to be a typical race, but Reddick won in overtime, courtesy of a series of bizarre events. Chase Elliott spun behind Reddick's in Turn 2; Joey Logano attempted a five wide pass in the inside-runoff at the sharp corner. Reddick received a second overtime restart. A huge pileup was formed behind Reddick. Ryan Blaney continued spinning hard in the same spot, creating a huge pileup behind Logano and Reddick.

Austin Cindric came in second, Harrison Burton third, Todd Gilliland fourth, Bubba Wallace fifth. AJ Allmendinger was sixth. However, he had a terrible race after a cooling unit malfunctioned. He fell from his car after trying to climb out. Reddick's win at Brickyard marked the end of an extraordinary month. In addition to winning the race in overtime, Reddick signed a contract with a new team, 23XI, which is owned by Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan.

Kyle Larson wins the nascar race

After winning the Watkins Glen International Race this weekend, Kyle Larson has won his 2nd NASCAR race. Larson won a battle with Chase Elliott early on for the lead but then held off Allmendinger to take the checkered flag. Larson won the race at Watkins Glen for the second time in his career. Chase Elliott, who won four races this season finished fourth.

After starting at the back of the field due to a non-approved adjustment Kyle Larson made a late pass Lap 167 to take the lead over Chase Elliott. Elliott, who won the regular season championship, led 29 laps at the time, but Larson slowed him down enough to take the lead. Larson held on for the win for 27 of the 34 remaining laps.

What cars are used to race cars and why?

Speed is the most important aspect for any race car driver. It's what makes them go fast. They must be fast enough and strong enough not to lose the lead. This gives them an advantage over other racers as they can overtake others at high speeds and then pull away from them again when they're not looking.

Lightweight cars are often the fastest. This allows them accelerate quickly and gain speed. They also have less power, so they travel a lot faster. This means they have to be efficient with their energy.

Engines power most modern-day racing cars. These engines are identical to those used in passenger vehicles. These engines run on compressed oxygen, and not petrol. This is because petrol can't provide enough power for a car to go fast.
