As part of its expanded business-to-business partnership with Sonic Automotive and Speedway Motorsports Incorporated, the Quaker State 400 will feature exclusive experiences for fans. Quaker State logo rally towels will be presented to all visitors at the gates. The towels will be available for them to use throughout the race.

Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway hosts NASCAR's championship weekend this fall

NASCAR plans to bring their championship weekend to Nashville this autumn. SMI has a plan to make Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway a viable venue for the event. The facility has been operational for over 100 years. It will undergo extensive renovations to meet NASCAR’s national-series standards. The speedway is also considered a prime location for NASCAR's championship banquet, and has a huge, passionate fan base.

The race will include the 37th All-American400 race. It is a championship for the limited late-model division. Johnathon Dishman won last year's event. Pure Stocks, Legends Cars, Bandoleros and other races will be held over the weekend.

Rockingham Speedway is closed for NASCAR racing

Rockingham Speedway in Kentucky is no longer a place for NASCAR racing. It was shut down due to lack revenue. Speedway Motorsports CEO believes it was the right business move. Martinsville Speedway has been created to replace it. This track is the shortest NASCAR track in Kentucky. It has close-quarter racing and is shaped like an old paperclip.

Xfinity Series and Monster Energy Cup teams used Rockingham during Rockingham's closing for testing purposes. Rockingham was where teams tested their cars to see how they would perform on other tracks. It has a high sand level, which makes it more abrasive and wears tires faster than other tracks. Kyle Petty, the driver of Rockingham, also tested his car there before testing it at Darlington.

Rockingham Speedway was a very popular track. It was known for great racing and amazing sightlines. But the track did not have the resources required to offer professional-level racing. The track had a history of making poor investments in infrastructure, and it lagged behind many other facilities in business plans. To pay the estate taxes, the track was auctioned after Wilson and DeWitt died. Speedway Motorsports auctioned Rockingham in October 2007.

How To

How to turn fast

In order to go faster in a race you need to get your car out from the way of other cars. This means you have the responsibility of turning before any other driver. Doing this correctly will cause everyone to brake, as they won't know what is ahead. You can also avoid collisions with cars coming in different directions. How do you turn fast?

First, you need to know where you're going. You will likely be surprised at where you end up. It's why planning is so important. It's important to create a map showing where you're going at all times. This may seem like a lot, but it will save you a lot more headaches later.

Next, determine when you will start turning. It's best to begin after passing the first corner. Once you've passed the first corner, you'll know exactly where you're starting from. The next step is to decide if you want to use the outside or inside lane.

If you plan to use the inside lane, wait until there is no traffic ahead of you. If you do this, you will be able to move quickly and without fear of hitting someone. Once you've entered the inside lane, it is important to stay there. Keep your eyes on the outside lane and don't drift back. If you do so, you may hit someone moving slowly. Be aware that crossing the line that divides the two lanes will cause you to lose control of your vehicle, and you could be in danger of being hit by someone else.

Once you've chosen which lane you will use, you can choose where you want to turn. This problem can be approached in many different ways. Some people prefer to find a gap in the traffic. Others try to find a clear opening in the road. Some others try to find a point where a road curves around a mountain or hill. Whatever method you choose, remember that you need to be careful not to block the entire road. Traffic jams can be caused by blocking the entire road.

After you have picked the spot you want to turn on, you should decide whether you will make a sharp or gradual left. A sharper turn is more difficult than a gradual. It takes more effort and takes more time. This makes it harder for you to steer your car properly. For these reasons, most drivers prefer to make gradual turns.

The final thing you should do is accelerate enough to get away from the car in front. Too fast and you will crash into the bumper of the vehicle in front. You can also run off the road if you accelerate too quickly. In either case you will lose control of your vehicle and crash. To avoid this scenario, you need to accelerate gradually. You should start slowly and increase your acceleration as you get closer to the edge.

Stop cornering immediately after you have finished. This is especially true when driving in heavy traffic. You risk running over someone else.
