The new photo mode in iRacing allows you to create epic screenshots. Although this mode doesn't require a monthly subscription it is quite fiddly. These are some tips that will help you get the most from the photo mode.

Adjusting the FoV value

You need to ensure that your iRacing screenshot is clear. This can be accomplished by changing the FoV value. To do this, open the iRacing Camera Edit menu by pressing CTRL + F12. There are many options to adjust the camera. The standard keys allow you to move the Scenic Cam. To move the camera from one side to another, press A or D.

After choosing the new FoV value, you can start testing it out on a track and see if it has any impact on your experience. Change the FoV value and you will notice a noticeable improvement in the car's feel and appearance. You should also be able better to determine references and brake distances. It should also make you more aware of things around you, which can help you improve your game play. Even though you may not see any significant improvement in lap time, your experience should still be consistent and repeatable.
