Saturday's Kobalt 400 was held at Las Vegas Motor Speedway by the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. Martin Truex Jr. scored his first win of the season. However, it was his first win in Las Vegas. The race was won for the first time by the team in seven years. Kevin Harvick, who had his tire cut in Atlanta before the first segment, finished fifth.
Kyle Larson wins Xfinity racing
Kyle Larson won Sunday's Xfinity race at Las Vegas Nascar. He was able to dominate the windy conditions to win the race, becoming the 10th consecutive winner in Xfinity racing in Las Vegas. Larson was second on the first stage but took the top spot with a late caution. His win gave him the points lead for the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Alex Bowman defeats Kyle Larson
Alex Bowman won the Pennzoil400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway despite being penalized for pit road early in the race. Bowman was the last driver to pit, but he rallied from the back of the field to win the race and earn his first checkered flag of the season. Continue reading for more information. Kurt Busch wins South Point 400
Although Kurt Busch had a career record of 0-for-21 at the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, he won the race and earned a spot on the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs. Although this win may surprise many, it's still an incredible achievement for the defending champion. After a brief caution, he won and was able to move up to first.
