Tyler Reddick was eighth after starting eighth in his first Cup Series race. The native Texas man led 99 of 100 laps before Chase Briscoe spun. Reddick quickly fixed his No. Kyle Busch was third, while Reddick finished ahead of the 8 Chevrolet. Joey Logano was fourth while Kyle Larson was fifth. Kyle Busch won the Bristol Motor Speedway race Sunday to win his third Cup of the season. This win tied Richard Petty’s all-time record of most wins in a single year. Busch had won eight times at Bristol. His older brother, Kyle Edwards, lined up next to him on the final restart, but did not pit during the 11th caution. Busch and his brother were also the last to pit before the race, making their win even more sweet.

This victory was a good example of the increasing competition in the series. Briscoe had the fastest car. However, his teammate was right there behind him. Briscoe was first and second respectively in the first half of race before he took over on the last lap.

The No. 9 Chevrolet of Chase Elliott is still leading in the Bristol race results after finishing second in the Daytona 500. He won his 14th career title and he was fifth in 2022.
