Ben Beshore who was Busch’s crew chief, looked under his car to identify the problem. He moved the car onto the pitlane and to the apron. Busch was forced to finish 30th due to engine failure. Busch's chances at making the playoffs were certainly reduced by the engine problem, but there are still positive aspects to Kyle Busch’s performance.

The car of the driver has had multiple inspection issues and was forced to stop twice in the pits during the race. It is possible that this could have contributed to his car not starting at all.

Reddick not only won the race, but also signed a contract with 23XI (owned by Denny Hamlin as well as Michael Jordan).
