NASCAR results Homestead are in! Denny Hamlin took home the NASCAR Cup Series win in Florida. William Byron and Kyle Busch also reached the top 10. Take a look at the results below.
Denny Hamlin wins NASCAR Cup Series race, Homestead-Miami Speedway
Denny Hamlin wins NASCAR’s Homestead-Miami Speedway Race for the third consecutive season. This makes it three wins in succession. Hamlin tied Tony Stewart and Greg Biffle as the winner at this 1.5-mile track. Hamlin won the NASCAR Cup Series for the 40th time in his career.
The race has been a wild one. William Byron leads at 91 laps. Hamlin was fighting for second but Byron's late surge gave him the win. But Hamlin isn't out of it yet. Despite the late penalty for pit road speed, Hamlin is still in the top 10.
William Byron wins
William Byron has become the first driver to win the Cup Series at HomesteadMiami. A year before, Byron and crew chief Adam Stevens were working together in the Truck Series. They were the Homestead season finale winners. They were promoted to Cup Series in 2017.

William Byron won Dixie Vodka 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway Sunday. Tyler Reddick, Martin Truex Jr. and Martin Truex Jr. finished ahead of him. The win was Byron's second NASCAR Cup Series victory and his first at the Miami track. The next four drivers placed in the top 10 were Tyler Reddick (Tyler Truex Jr.), Kyle Larson, and Tyler Reddick.
Kyle Busch finishes among the top 10
After starting 24th in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at NASCAR Homestead, Kyle Busch moved up to 15th by lap 25. He remained there till the lap 25 competition yellow. He pitted again on lap 27. After that, 13th was his new position. On lap 65, he dropped to 15th. Busch stated to Ben Beshore his crew chief that his car was still too loose. Busch pitted for four tires as well fuel and trackbar and wedge adjustments. In the end, he placed eighth in the event.
Denny Hamlin took the pole from Kyle Busch in the Ford EcoBoost 400 race after it was soaked by rain. Saturday's race will broadcast live on NBCSN at 2.05 p.m. ET. ET. Kyle Busch is determined that he can put behind him his disappointing season at NASCAR Homestead and finish in top 10.
Austin Dillon finishes top 10
Austin Dillon is looking to build on his eighth-place finish at the Dixie Vodka 500 last year. Dillon was eighth at Homestead's Cup Series three times before. Dillon currently ranks ninth in Driver Ratings at the Homestead track.
Dillon has two top-10 finishes in seven career starts at Homestead, and hasn't finished lower than 14th there since 2014. Erik Jones drives for Richard Petty Motorsports. He finished 14th last week on the Daytona Road Course and is expected to start Sunday's Homestead event 18th. In 2019, Jones was third at Homestead, while racing for Joe Gibbs Racing.

Denny Hamlin's championship picture shrinks to 16 in September
Denny Hamlin's championship picture has been weakened by two races in the regular-season. He currently stands 26th in the NASCAR Cup point standings, which is the worst start to a NASCAR Cup season in his 16-year history. Tony Stewart has tied him for the most wins in his career (49), but Hamlin has yet to win any championships during the first three-months of the season. Hamlin's pressure is growing, especially after signing last year a multi-year contract.
Denny Hamlin could be in the postseason after two wins. With his second win, he will not be able to fall below the top 13, in terms of wins. With a third victory in a row, he won't need to worry about points, new winners, or who will be in the postseason field.
