Bristol 2021 NASCAR Cup Series Race Results

Tyler Reddick, who started eighth in the Cup Series race at Bristol, won his first Cup Series race. Reddick, a native Texas, led 99 laps of the 100-lap final stage before Chase Briscoe spun him. Reddick quickly retook his No. Kyle Busch, who finished third, was beaten by Reddick's No.8 Chevrolet. Joey Logano was fourth, while Kyle Larson finished fifth. Christopher Bell, Alex Bowman, and Chase Elliott also finished in the top ten. Michael McDowell was 22nd.

Kyle Busch won the Bristol Motor Speedway event Sunday to earn his third Cup. He tied Richard Petty's record for the most wins in one season with this win. The win was Busch's eighth at Bristol. Kyle Edwards, his older brother, was next to Busch on the final restart. However, he did not pit during the eleventh caution. Busch and Edwards were the last drivers in the pits before the race. Their victory was sweeter.

The last race of this season was Bristol's Food City Showdown. Tyler Reddick lost the final lap to Briscoe who won by more than one minute. This win was a prime example of how the series is becoming more competitive. While Briscoe was the fastest, his teammate was close behind. Briscoe was second, and then third in the first part of the race. He then pounced on him the last lap.

The No. Chase Elliott's 9 Chevrolet of Chase Elliott leads the Bristol race results. He finished second in Daytona 500. It was Elliott's 14th win in his career and his fifth in 2022.
